The KP Pierce nut are made in steel, and suitable for 0.6 – 2mm plate thickness. Strength version: class 8 & class 10.

Mechanical properties
Standard (Class 8):
• Used for <340MPa* UTS material
• Hardness range 18 – 30 HRC
• Proof load tested for ISO 898-2 Class 10
High strength (Class 10):
• Used for <600MPa* UTS material
• Hardness range 35 – 40 HRC
• Proof load tested for ISO 898-2 Class 10

Standard surface treatments
• Plan (oiled)
• Zinc plating Cr3 – 8µm – clear passivation
• Zinc-Nickel plating – 8µm – black passivation
