JOINING SOLUTIONS
FOR FUTURE GAINS.
We help companies into the new era of fastening with innovative solutions for lightweight and mixed materials.
Why?Technological and economic advantages
Mechanical joining in an automated assembly offers consistent installation and by that over time ensures a repeatable stable fastening joint. This not only gives economic advantages during installation but also leads to low life-time cost.
Paying attention to fasteners in the design phase enables you to reduce the range of fasteners used, which in turn free up warehouse space and reduce administration as well.
The industry is changing
The manufacturing industry is moving towards a higher degree of automation as a necessary means to reach product efficiency. Apart from the cost saving this is a necessity to ensure that future environmental aspects are also meet. This calls for multi-purpose fasteners that reduces process steps in installation and limits or eliminates welding and other hazardous and polluting operations.
There is a spur in usage of lightweight material in industrial production such as Magnesium, Composite materials, Aluminium, and Bohr steel. The total use of these materials is estimated to increase with 75% until 2026. But with the exciting new opportunities these materials bring there are also challenges regarding producibility and production efficiency. We can help with that!
A next generation solution
We like our world.
So, helping to solve new production challenges to promote more sustainable end products is of course a major driving force.
And besides, the fasteners in our mechanical joining solutions offers a clean and simple process that in most cases improves the working environment of the production line. Which usually is a good contribution to our customers in their own internal sustainability ambitions.

THE OFFER
Profits is in the overall thinking
We constantly work to help our customers to improve and increase profitability. That is why we work closely together to continuously improve availability and minimize interruptions in the production line.
The most successful of our customers are those who understand the complexity of the complete fastening solution. They are aware of the opportunities that lie beyond nuts and bolts and focus on the overall joining solution.
SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT
Looking at the production conditions and the actual demands on the fastening joint, we find the optimal solution together with our customers.
The process works in a series of steps which include onsite assessment, workshops and testing at our lab. The end solution will strive to optimize;
– Fasteners
– Automation
– Supply
FASTENER SOLUTIONS
Materials used, forces required, corrosion resistance, friction, mating parts info. These are all examples of input needed to find a good fastener solution.
The fastener also needs to be designed for manufacturing, keeping the production steps in the fastener production low to reduce costs and guarantee an optimal solution.

AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS
What are the prerequisites of the production site? What is the needed output when it comes to, e.g. cycle time, tolerance and installation feedback?
Our automation solution can be incorporated in a robotic production cell or installed directly in a progressive die.

Progressive die press installation
Feeding and installing fasteners directly in a progressive die offers a one-step production. Suitable for high volume applications.

Robotic cell installation
Automatic feeding and installation of fasteners in a robotic cell. This provides a flexible installation process that enables possibility of product variation in the same production cell.
