Manual installation
Yearly nut volume: 1k – 30k pcs
Using only a nut holder and a die a pierce nut can be installed in a C-frame or other equipment that provides an axial force.
Fastit can assist with installation of nuts as a subcontracting service. This can be suitable for pre-production series and for first time pierce nut users.

Magazine feeding
Yearly nut volume: 5k-250k
A flexible solution with low investment. Can be used at fairly high volumes. Can be used with C-frame installation or in-die press installation.
For c-frame setup one magazine and one punch head is used. With in-die press installation one magazine and one punch head per line will be used.
The magazine can be loaded with an magazine feeder by the customer. This is suitable for setups where a lot of magzines with the same nut is used, usually in different cells / press lines.
The magazine ca also be loaded by Fastit. Fastit will pick upp empty magazines and deliver filled magazines. Usually on a weakly basis.

Automatic feeder
Yearly nut volume: 150k +
Pierce nut / plate: 1-6pcs
For in-die press installation one pierce nut line is needed per nut. All nuts are installed in one press stroke.
Automatic feeders can supply a high output of pierce nuts to serveral nut-lines. The feeder can be a direct feeder or air feeder. Direct feeders are a mora simple setup, usable for up to 6m hose length. Air feeders can be used over a longer distances, up to 30m. Air – feeders can also be upgraded with multi-feeders to supply more than 6 lines.
Output: Around 240 nuts/min. This will be split when more lines are used. A four line direct feeder can supply 60 nuts/min in each line. Contact Fastit for consultation.

Automatic feeder with multi-feeeder
Yearly nut volume: 150k +
Pierce nut / plate: 1-16pcs
A multi-feeder splits a nut line to 8 lines. This can be used to supply two press lines or to set a large amount of pierce nuts in one press stroke.
Output: Around 240 nuts/min. This will be split when more lines are used. A two line air feeder can supply 120 nuts/min in each line. This wil be further split in the multi-feeder. Contact Fastit for consultation.
