CLINCH SCREW

The Flush Head Clinch Screw is made in hardened steel, 304 stainless steel or 410 stainless steel. Depending on size, it is suitable for minimum 1 mm thickness plates and maximum 90HRB hardness.

Mechanical properties

Hardened steel

• Size range: M2 – M8
• Sheet hardness (max) – 80 HRB
• Sheet tensile strength (max) – 500MPa

304 stainless steel

• Size range: M2 – M18
• Sheet hardness (max) – 70 HRB
• Sheet tensile strength (max) – 400MPa

410 stainless steel

• Size range: M2 – M8
• Sheet hardness (max) – 90 HRB
• Sheet tensile strength (max) – 620MPa

Standard surface treatments

• Plain (oiled)
• Zinc plating Cr3 – 8µm – clear passivation
• Zinc-Nickel plating – 8µm – black passivation
• Zinc flake (geomet – silver or black)
